This Jay Peak Vermont family session filled my soul. Not only did I get the chance to hang with a long-time friend and her family, but we also had so much fun splashing and playing in the river and documenting such a fleeting time in such a gorgeous place.

Choosing images to share from this session was next to impossible because I am so obsessed with the way they love on each other, play with each other, and honor one of their favorite places by enjoying it so thoroughly. (Here is the full gallery from this Jay Peak Vermont family session!)

Plan Your Own Vermont Family Session

I call my family, maternity, and newborn sessions “Storytelling Sessions” because that is exactly what they are.

Together, we plan a session that encapsulates the season of life you want to document. I’ll ask specific questions to help you brainstorm the most important moments, memories, locations (like Jay Peak!), and feelings you want to remember.

You’ll have a chance to tell me more about the kind of images you’re most drawn to and the things that inspire you, and share any images you’ve seen and loved. Then, we’ll work together to plan outfits and choose a location and time that best represents your family and the story you want to tell.
