We got the most gorgeous morning and evening (which means the most gorgeous colors) for Maggie and Marc’s Burlington, VT wedding at the UVM Alumni House. Sure, there was a huge rainstorm mid-day, but it hit when we were indoors for the ceremony, and the sun was right back out before family photos and dancing all night long (aka: perfect timing).

Maggie had such a strong vision for her day and a few key photos she wanted to capture! We made it happen by sneaking away for some solo sexy shots, a first dance “practice” (not that they needed it), and caught the moon rise.

Like I said in my OG Instagram post with some of their pics, this was the wedding (and the couple) that made me fall in love with Blue Hour.

A wedding day is so, so busy, and I love that these two made it a priority to spend one-on-one time together. A wedding day is also full of photos so here are just a few favs!

Burlington VT Wedding Blue Hour

A Burlington VT wedding has so much to offer—especially if you can catch the sunset over the lake. When we were getting ready in the morning, I eyed this spot as a great location to do just that, and we lucked out with the location of the moon as well. These two are just beyondddd in love with each other and it shined through so many times throughout the day. (I mean, can we talk about how he is looking at her in that 3rd pic below??).

We also (obviously) had to make sure to feature Maggie’s white Nike High Tops! I love it when a bride adds a personal flair to their outfit. These intentional choices make each wedding day so unique.

Love stories? Here's mine!

I wasn't born with a camera in my hand and I haven't "wanted to be a photographer ever since I can remember." My passion for photography developed (a bit) later in my life and since then, I would consider it quite the obsession...

As you explore, ask yourself "can I see myself in these images?"

I like to describe my style as, "a little grain, a little pop of color, a lot of wild love."
